as a lgv driver (concrete mixer) i see a fair few nice cars but occasionally i'll get days like today, first car i had seen was a 56 plate ferrari (dont know what model) which seemed to sit along side me before shooting off down the road it sounded v.v.nice! second car id seen was a very old ferrari (red one again) but this one was quite old reminded me of a triumph stag!!! third car was a v.v.v. nice audi avant it was rather an a4/s4 or rs4 it was de-badged in black with black alloys and tinted windows and it made the best noise i have ever truly heard it sounded MONSTEROUS and its reg was R500, the only thing i got to see was the quattro emblen above the glove box which i could just about make out thru the tints!!!!!

The RS4 does sound nice. I witnessed a guy floor his black one today and I think they sound very similar to the 55AMG's (which is no bad thing IMO).

the reg of this car was R500 and that was it, no other letters or numbers.

Unless the plate has only just been transferred and the DVLA database hasnt been updated yet?

R500 is registered as a 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4
