hi all

i have a large tin (half left) of black Hammerite and need to thin it down as it seems to have dried out slightly. is it possible to do this without purchising the expensive Hammerite thiners?

You just need cellulose thinner. Thats all the Genuine stuff is but in a posh tin.

Isn't cellulose thinners illegal these days!!
Surely there's some water based shyte that doesn't work properly you could use!

Sorry I was being sarcastic, everything these days seems to be so environmentally friendly that it just doesn't work properly e.g. useless washing powder and water based gloss paint - hopeless.
They actually sell solvent free turps ans solvent free grip fill, ummm bet that works really well.
