Hi,

Im just wondering if anyone as heard of 'Power Over Wireless' the transfer of electricity to things such as cell phones without a cable. Apparently also a cell phone company has taken out a patent for a device that switches the cell phone on when it detects a wireless signal and powers itself. So you dont waste battery power but when you find the wireless power it charges itself - pretty cool.

This has been around for a while but it now looks like it may become a reality.

Bit of info for those not aware of 'Power over wireless'

Who knows, maybe one day I can get rid of all the chargers that every device comes with these days. How come they all seem to be different? Why can't device manufacturers settle on one of a number of 'standard' chargers that we could use between devices? I must have around 15 different chargers for various devices.

What about remote controllers? I have to use 3 just to watch a bit of hollyoaks

Easy answer to that A4Quattro..........

Don't watch Hollyoaks lol

It is a Tesla invention isnt it?

Not a good idea for populated area's.

It is bad enough already.

Sounds a bit suspicious that strong EMR is harmful to animals, but 'not' to humans.
