1 million motorists face losing their licences

more than 1m drivers are now on 9 points and in danger of losing both their licences & possibly their jobs. I guess this is one way to reduce congestion but what it has to do with road safety is anyone's guess. 2million convictions every year and no drop in accidents or deaths on the road.

I'm not suprised by that, I only got half a licence myself left, gotta drive safer for the next 4 years!

It's only 3 years actually, and not safer, slower, the 2 aren't necessarily linked.

I been driving 9yrs and been stopped 18 times for speeding and have zero points - touch wood.

I have talked myself out of it everytime i was caught (last time was about 3yrs ago now).

Only woman i know can get away with that !
a friend i know openly admitted she opens her blouse a wee touch once the blue lights come on ! its a right pain when its a female cop (but who knows lol)
