Hi all.

I just wondered which car magazines you read?

I like PVW but it's really more VW (hence the VW of PVW) than Audi and rarely features any Audi's at all. Same with Golf+ I suppose.

There's Audi Driver which I only read in WHSmith's but it's more about newer cars from the quick look I had.

And from searching around here I notice that theres Total Audi, but it's not available at the moment. Is it any good?

I'd just like a PVW type magazine for Audi's!

Loads, performace tuner, max power(after its make over), various others that have articles that catch my attention.

Oh and the occasional welders manual!!!!

Don't like Max Power, Fast Car and all that. I like the more Euro type styling as opposed to the Jap styling in those magazines...

Its the tunning i tend to read them for, the new format is covering a wider range of the modding market, which is about time really, not a read now either. as i said it went really chavvy but its on the way back up now IMO

Yea, I suppose I haven't even looked at it in the shops for a good few years.

I know VW's are more common to modify, but I like the way that PVW covers them, and even the adverts are all VW-related (obviously!). Just seems a pitty that there isn't (or is there?) this type of magazine for Audi's...

Used to buy Volksworld, The Golf mag cos of my old cabby and 911 Porsche World when i had the SC.

Don't bother with any nowadays, only really buy em when i've got a car i'm modding for ideas and that.

That's why i think this forum does so well. Cos of the lack of information on modding in the press.

I read Auto Express and Men's Health, Men's health is really a good read, one of the only mags I can read all of.

Just Landrover owner Mag
One of the most interesting mags I've ever read!

There's only so much coverage you can do on waterproof overcoats.

:lmfao: Very funny!

And yes I see your point about why this forum is as good as it is!!

It does get me thinking about how difficult it would be to produce such a magazine.... If there's a definate need for it I mean...

It's got reviews of Mac software, Hardware (not all peripherals work with Macs), how-to stuff, and news. It has got a bit boring though...

Auto Express (when its 6 issues for £1)
T3 - gadgets/girls/gizmos :icon_thumright:

Thank you!!!

If there's nothing too great out there (Audi-magazine wise), then it's time to create an Audi Sport magazine!

yep quality magazine, but for photography and design CAR comes up tops imo

I spend way too much on magazines

I buy
Evo
Performance Tuning (new decent format)
Total 911 (Will buy one some day)
Autocar
Home Cinema Choice
Audi Driver
Performance VW

Plus the Autotrader every week - never know when there is a bargain looming.

I picked up a copy of Max power this month also as the Cayman on thr front cover caught my eye- the format is much better and moving more towards where it used to be years ago, rather than full of Chav mobiles. Dont think I could read it every month, but worth a flick through in the news agents.

Used to read any magazine I could get hold of..

Now, I just read this site: Audi-sport.net Get more of a chuckle from here.
