For those of you who may not be aware, it's local election time on 3rd May.......... So it's time for my usual AS Net Poll

I wont vote, havent done so since iwas 18 which is......5 years ago now.

Its a sad day but i absolutely do not think there is any point, there is not one party that actually listens to people or gives them any sort of choice in any matter.

We live in what is 3/4 of a dictatorship already, no1 will change that

I know I won't be voting for Labour. The country's become a ***** hole with them in charge. I'm keepin up the family traditions and voting Conservative.

Odd, no BNP vote yet?

I agree this current Dictatorship have removed and eroded more of our traditional freedoms in the last 10 Years, than all those that have gone before them.........

However, I don't buy that sort of defeatist attitude...... Get off your butt, think about what really matters to you, and vote!!

There are at least 2 Parties on my list that would make a fundamental difference to how this Country is run........... The BNP or the Commies, take your pick!

Actually, I forgot to add 'Respect',,,,,,,,,,,, that would make 3 Parties!

Can anyone tell me how to add them too the poll??

Im really not convinced by the conservatives, although i agree at this point in time they seem a better option than labour.

Worse than that here in scotland i get another opportunity to vote for another pointless party who wont do anything different or have any real control.

What is the point in the scottish parliament? Architectual merit, other than that im struggling...

Although I have voted conservative most of my life, never labour, I would consider other parties in a local election.General election is another matter as I would hate to see the current robbing control freak government get back in by default.

Good post nothing winds people up more than politics or religion

It's only voting time for approx 1/3 of the country. Some of us have got to wait another couple of years before we can put democracy into action. Not that there is much point round here as it is one of the safest Tory areas in the country.

My normal rule is to vote for whoever was second last time - whatever the party. All I vote for is a change.

Cant vote, havent lived in the UK for a while and Im not registered....

But if I could, prolly Conservative.

I also won't vote, for these same reason.

If everyone thought that way then we'd all be shafted. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

There are people who would argue that if you give up your right to vote, you also forfeit the right to complain.

All politicians **** in the same pot anyway. The vast majority are only looking to line their pockets rather than making things better. Most seem to forget they need to be careful who they step on on the way up as they'll probably meet them on the way back down!

Just my 2p's worth.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who voted for UKIP, what is their opinion on the, now widely acknowledged, view that UKIP are merely the 'official' protest party........??

Also about the financial 'irregularities' that have come to light recently..?

Usually tory, then my Mrs Tdi/ votes labour and negates my vote (and time) grrrrr.

There are also those that argue your right not to vote is your right to compain.

Agreed about politicians, very few have any interest in making things better. They all have their own agendas

Everybody has a bias, i myself do obviously and unfortunately there isnt one party that fits with this so i wont be voting for any of them.

Bunch of ignorant, delusional robbing ******** that they are lol

True, but all the unheard voices like yours could mean the current numpties do or don't get back in for another term. As you say, it's unfortunate there's not one particular party that ticks (or crosses ) all the boxes without them being one of the more 'radical' parties.

Let's start the ASN Party!

The green party as the guy who represents them here is a pretty cool guy ....sounds very wrong me saying that as i have a car the does less that 20miles to the gallon but everything else i do is more then others regarding energy saving and recycling

Free road tax for all, no fuel duty, insurance premium tax abolished and the wanton destruction of Gatsos, SPECs and Truvelos positively encouraged for starters...

We could legalise the gatso bomb (dont worry ill come up with one)

And ban all micras and the over 60's unless they used to be a racing driver?

Oh and free parking for me any time im in the centre of edinburgh or glasgow(diplomatic immunity?)

Ve vill all drive ze peoples car!!!

Wrong country but hey

Can you imagine how popular these proposals would be? How many million motorists are there in the UK? The revenue would have to come from somewhere else though.

Prostitute tax?

Non car user tax

Walkers Tax

Bird watchers tax

Im a money making machine me, i should be the chancellor

As long as its not a masterbating tax otherwise i would have to emigrate

I think all current Audi drivers should not be taxed anymore on any motoring issues or speeding fines, and nobody that doesn't already own an Audi can ever buy one.
