What is the best way to shove a washing machine back under a worktop without marking the floor? Cmon all you diyers out their.

use washing up liquid as a lubricant, makes it a hell of a lot easier.

put a bit of sturdy cardboard or an offcut of carpet under it then either be lazy an leave it there or pull it out once machine is in place

Get some 3mil hardboard form ba and q or wickes and keep it in the loft for exactly this eventuality!
grippy side goes down on floor, shiny side upwards, real strong and protects the floor, and machine slides perfect!
once done, put it back into the loft!

rock it from side to side gently whilst pushing it back.

An old bedsheet, folded over a couple of times, works well when tucked under the feet.
