Was digging through my old vids and found this gem...

Its an in-car-vid I made when I first got my nitrous system installed on my first engine.

Enjoy.

After market heads,cam,intake
Stock 5 speed trany
4.10:1 rear axle gears with a spool
Regular everyday street tires "radials"

The red light is a "shift light".
It comes on at a predetermined rpm..
It allows you to watch the road and opposing racer and not over rev the engine.

Here is a vid that I made earlier the same day as the previous vid.
This was before I installed the nitrous kit. So you will notice the engine pulls some what slower.
Due to the poor camera angle...its hard to get a referance to how fast the car is actualy going.
With that said...if you count the gear changes ,you can kind of tell how fast the car is going.
At the top of 4th gear the car is at 120 mph.

The vid need some editing and what not...but you'll get the idea.

All motor-No nitrous, vid.

great engine sound... pure power!!

That was a great "little" engine combo.

It made 301 rwhp (~350bhp) and loved to rev.

I sold it with about 220,000 miles on it and last I hear, the guy I sold it to is still driving around with it in his daily driver.

Just wait until I get this new engine combo done for this upcomming race season.

Its a 418 cubic inch, all out nitrous setup.
We estimate it will make around 450 rwhp naturaly aspirated and somewhere between 850-950 rwhp on the juice.
It should push me deep into the 9's in the 1/4 mile and still run on pump gas and be "street legal".

Will post pics and vids as soon as it comes back from the machine shop.

I cant wait.
