I just got my documents through in the post this morning for swapping the golf for the Audi 80 on the policy. The letter states that Tesco are now allowing named drivers to build up their own No Claims Discount so that it can be taken into account if they decide to start their own policy. Now, i have one problem with this. I have been a named driver on this particular policy for over 2 years now, but i started my own policy from scratch back in April of this year for my A4. I think, when it comes to renewal time, i will probably be better off cancelling my own policy on the A4, which will have 1 years no claims bonus on it, and starting up another new policy, which will take into account the 2 1/2 years i have been a named driver on my fathers policy.
