Hi,

I'm off for a trip through the Baltics in a couple of weeks with some mates, ending up in Lithuania to hopefully see Scotland take some points from one of the few games we might actually win in this qualifying group.

Trip starts in Helsinki, then onto Tallin, Riga and finally Vilnius.

Has anyone been to these places and can recommend some decent pubs/clubs etc to check out while we're there?

I will ask my ol man as he always travels thru these places into Russia! But i'd love to goto Riga and Tallin!

I can't say much about Riga, unless he needs the names of hotels.

Tallinn is beautiful. Again I know hotels and a nice restaurant right in the old town.

The "Hansa" restaurant is good, not expensive, they are dressede in old fashioned outfits.

There are lots of pubs and clubs around the square and town hall. That is where all the life is in the evening.

We've got accomodation booked in the centre of all locations so it should be easy to get about. Looking forward to it, heard good things.
