very simple really just made to look pretty, isnt this at Volkswagen delivery centre in Germany?
Its the same as in many logistics companies all over the world it is an automated pallet retrieval system, they've had these in Tokyo for cars parks for about 10 years,
and NO you dont stay in your car, you drive into a bay at the bottom and it puts your car away, little conveyor on lift rolls car into bay and pulls it out,
but yes a ****** to wind down manually if the power goes!!
