- A4 3.0 Quattro Sport
- Body Styling Kit (not July 03 spec)
- Alcantara/Leather combination
- 18" 9-spoke alloys wheels
- GSM phone preparation
- Cruise control
- Acoustic Parking Aid - Rear (cos I'm a 'stumpy jumper' as they say 'up North' (of England...) )
- DIS
- Symphony Radio inc 6 CD autochanger
- Folding Door Mirrors (to allow me to get into the garage with 1" spare either side with the mirrors unfolded ... garage door mod definitely needed!!!)
- Headlight washers
- Servotronic PAS
- Audi-Sport.net sticker above rear view mirror (of course!)
- Few other minor bits ...

Still bouncing... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/froggie_red.gif

Thanks for all the supportive comments. Good to get positive feedback from the 'experts'. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

Still getting a feel for it yet, which is difficult during the run in period. Its definitely 'straining at the leash' as to say!!

Must say the gears are taking me a little more time than I expected to get used to. 1st to 2nd is a bit of a pig ... but I'm sure it will come with time. Any advice from the 'seasoned' A4 drivers out there?

From what I've read, I think most new Audi gearboxes are like that. Notchy from 1st to 2nd, especially when cold, e.g. in winter. Although the one in my S3 was smooth right from the word go, never notchy. But the A3 I had was notchy from 1st to 2nd.

Some owners have replaced their gearbox oil with a high quality fully synthetic stuff - and I believe it improves things a lot.

I guess you just need to keep an eye on it. Expect you'll just have to get used to it, its a different car. But if its really notchy in winter, you might want to have a chat with your dealer.
