Nice places to go this weekend?

So as this saturday its meant to be sunny i want to go for drive out somewhere nice for the day with the girlfriend. Was going to go york but noticed its going to be bit cloudy over that way (so apple weather says). Anywhere else like that which is nice for the whole day? I live near liverpool btw so nowhere down south or up scotland lol
 
What about just getting lost in North Yorkshire moors, good scenery small villages and good roads.

Need to be home for around 6 so not ridiculisly far probs about 50/60miles or less
 
Anyone?? I was thinking if going climbing snowdon but gona leave that til end of the month. Anywhere else in wales worth going to? Lol DO NOT SAY RHYL haha
 
snowdon will be chokka this weekend, go to llyn brenig in north wales, the roads round there are mega i went the other week it was mint!
