Fitting HID conversion kit with DRL headlights

Hello

Looking to order these headlights for my A3
AUDI A3 2003-2008 8P1 HATCHBACK BLACK DRL LIGHT STRIP PROJECTOR HEAD LIGHTS PAIR | eBay

Was just wondering if it's possible to fit them with a HID conversion kit (on the dimmed lights)?

Also could you recommend a good HID kit. Not even sure what price range I should be looking at as there's such a huge price gap between cheapest and dearest.

Any help is appreciated.

Asking the forum if a HID kit will work on aftermarket lights before inboxing the seller?

That's a fair point, although I did send a message to 3 individual sellers and still haven't heard anything from neither one of them.

Thanks for the info, Jake. Which section do you reckon this topic would be most appropriate for? Audi A3?

Sounds about right haha, fair share of eBay sellers either wouldn't know themselves or are too lazy to check. Not too sure the forum will give much help either though as they're not often fitted (worth a shot but seller's probably a better bet on knowing).
