He has certainly left his mark on this world,, for good, bad, and indifferent...
Either way, I expect we will now be subjected to an endless stream of stomach churning verbosity, and overdone praise from all and sundry........ He deserves his place in history, but he ain't no Saint.

This is another incredible loss to the world. I have always held Nelson Mandela with the greatest respect and highest regard. He is an incredible example of what a fully actualized human being with a cause and purpose can accomplish. Seriously, who else is able to claim that they ended slavery in the only place in the world that it was still active. We should all strive to reach our true potential at a level that this man did. I only wish that I would have been able to meet him before his passing. Yet another person that I wish I could have met but was unable to do so.
