Been hearing a new sound from the local Stanta firing range today Apache helo's using there chain guns and it,s still going on tonight

That brings back memories of walking around the village freezing my *** off getting soaking wet while trying to act professional

How close are you?

About 3-4 miles away from the edge of the range but the choppers are well inside the danger zone but the sound travels well but sounds even closer at night.

I have apaches flying over my house quite regularly, don't mind them because they are fairly quiet. Unlike the chinooks and Hercules that fly over daily... Apparently it a route the raf take to avoid flying over birmingham. (I live in the clent hills in an old farm house :))
