I have just heard that a friend of mine has had a very serious accident on his bike, thankfully he is ok(ish)
He is a safe rider, and was moving very slowly at the time of the impact, which seems to have been caused by a car pulling out of a side road straight into him.
The surgeons who have worked on his leg had an immediate reaction that he would lose it, but they have stated that the paramedics who attended the incident without doubt saved his leg and possibly his life. Thanks you guys!
So, I just want to say take it easy out there.... We seem to have had a number of accidents among the members recently, just goes to show that you can never be 100% certain of what is around the corner.
