sent the unit off to ECU testing.com in Derby but after carful examination the cant repair it due to a faulty processor. Where else can I go to without paying stealership prices. part numbers given are 02e927770aj & 02e300052.

Audi breakers, the ECU will need recoding to your car.

its a 2008 vw passat 2.0 tdi with common rail engine code

They can get any parts for the Mechatronic unit, not sure about ECU but worth a try.

I came across a company from Finland but I don't know if I want to go down the route of replacing mine due to expense of the part and the worth of the car.
