Warranty direct worth it?

Would like to know people's opinions on this? I've had a quote of 37 a month for my 55 plate a3 DSG. With no fixed contract?

Is it worth it? And what about things you suspect need changing?

Any modificationss from factory spec at all and they will not pay out. Even though I have fitted new IC and pipework that i wouldnt expect to be covered themselves, to prevent ongoing problems with boost leaks, they will not cover the car.

It's the car equivalent of payment protection inusurance.

But in regards to things that may need changing in the next 6 months maybe 1 year is worth it?

Just put your £37 a month to the side, open an instant access ISA or something, then if something breaks, it's there for you to use, if nothing breaks, you are £222 up after 6 months with a few quid interest aswell! win-win.
