Had the rear and front bumpers spray painted the same colour as the body on my C5 allroad. My first thoughts were that either they had not been reconnected properly or the spray paint was too thick.

On collecting the car discovered the parking sensors were not working and just gave a continuous tone when activated, also a few minutes later discovered the indicator bulb on the rear driver side had blown.

I replaced the bulb and the sensors also started working again. Could this be pure coincidence or did the cars ECU detect an electrical problem, i.e. the bad bulb and disable the parking sensors in case they aLos had a related fault, i.e. causing them to fail safely?
