About 25 years ago my parents had a VW camper van to do a trip to spain - when we got to spain the exhaust was blowing badly, so local mechanic did a bodge with using a baked bean can - did the job though!

I bought a car a few year ago with a blowing exhaust. Got it home only to find it had a baked bean tin wrapped around it.
