My mate done this a few weeks ago, also used an engine treatment and swears it has increased his power (slightly) and improved his efficiency.

Is your mates' car old and not properly maintained? If so then it makes sense. If the car is given decent fuel, oil, etc then I doubt you'd get anywhere near that increase in performance.

Yeah i use the STP injector cleaner and multivalve cleaner every now and then...for the price it can't hurt! (famous last words! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif)
