    Are we all creatures of habit or is it just me,

    When i fancy a new top jacket or jeans i normally stick to a certain brand and set of shops, Not because I'm lazy, but because i feel comfortable with the stores,staff and brand that i go for,

    I'v been into STONE ISLAND for about the past 20 years and find there clothing to be on the expensive sides but worth it as they last forever, Iv got shirts that are now 20 years old and look great and in fashion when i pull them out now and wear them,

    What about you ?

    Do you want £5k a month, every month, for working 3 hours a week part time ? I'm serious, open the link!

    I wear anything so long as it's comfortable and fits, and I don't look like a dickhead in it.

    For normal clothes I've never been into the labels thing. Get most of my stuff in the sale from Next or M&S.

    For sportswear I'm more of a labels tart - mainly because if I'm:
    • Cycling 100 miles in a day;
      Racing in a half-ironman triathlon for 6 hours;
      Skiing @ -20 degrees C; or
      Walking in the fells for 8 hours in the pouring rain
    I want kit that fits and works.

    I used to be into labels bigtime, favourite being Armani!!

    Jeans, tops, jackets, the lot!!

    I have cut down alot, as I have found alot of high street clothing that can last just as long and doesnt cost as much, although alot of clothes have increased in price a fair bit as well now.

    The missus will treat me from time to time to a few designer garms, but nowadays its high street for me

    I like my labels. I know what i'm buying in terms of quality and fitting, and some brands just seem to produce exactly what I like, although this does change as time goes on. At the moment i'm big into Superdry, Ted Baker, Diesel, Armani

    Whatever looks, feels & wears well tbh, from experience having bought various brands including low, mid & premium, I tend to go with 1st the look as thats what attracts you in the 1st place, then quality, regardless of the brand, I dont buy cause of a name.

    I have some Diesel jeans that I bought some years ago, cause in years they're the 1st pair that actually fits well & they're still as good today as they were when bought, I also have some T's from Next, Gap & Top Shop, aswell as FCUK, I'm quite partial to O'Neill mainly because of the style, cut & quality of the products.

    I had some Levi's that cost me about £80 & they ripped to pieces for some obscure reason, so name doesnt mean shyte at end of day tbh.

    I do fail too see how buying a non designer item of clothing would make you not take pride in your appearance though, as some of the lesser brands make the expensive ones look rubbish.

    i didnt mean that non designer wasnt taking pride. but with my owm experiences when i find something i like it normally always reflects on the price tag.

    i feel its the same with cars. the S range always tends to look nicer IMO likewise with the M series bmw's.

    9 times out of 10 if it looks and feels good quality its either designer or still very expensive.

    Actually, when it comes to foot wear, I have to buy Nike Shox. I go through a pair each year, and I'm really choosey when it comes to the colour of the trainer and the plastic 'shox' part.

    I like Ted Baker, I also have a leaning toward Firetrap, and I always buy designer jeans.

    I prefer Adidas over Nike, but I also like Puma for my golf Tshirts because of the fit.

    But when it comes to shirts I buy Matalan for work, but designer labels for going out. Same with suits. No point spending hundreds on work suits when Matalan do them for £50.

    I don't get labels.
    If I like it, I buy it.

    But I do have an addiction to DC Shoes and use to have an addiction to Gul clothing, till they went under.

    I used to get bored easily so liked to chop and change. I buy what looks nice but has a quality feel to it too. Tended to buy from Next, JN, Diesel amongst others. Some cheaper things are pretty good, its just a case of choosing carefully. Dont like clothes that are rough against the skin.

    But the days of many clothes are gone now! So its billabong etc for shorts and bikinis or anything that catches the eye.

    But shoes were always my weakness lol I love shoes esp heels! And they had to be a good label. But sadly not so much call for them in the sand.
