woohoo- motorists escapes speed fine-nice one! legal history made!

I believe that has changed now so that the registered owner or company of the car has to pay the fine no matter what! Otherwise we all would do it.

nah- not yet but judges are wary- ie you have to convince them you really don`t know.

roberts defence" named after a blimmin copper who first used it and he was Superintendent would you believe! Robert used it and never got to trial- first time actually been used.

drink driving peeps..

if you love your drink and can't help but drive home here is a tip..

if you think you are the tiny bit over the limit and you get stopped by the police say that you had only had a drink 2 minutes ago as you had just come from the pub... they are then not allowed to breathalize you and have to give you a blood test as the alcohol is fresh on your breathe and would cause the computer to read wrong.. so by the time they take you to the police station and then got a doctor to come round and then give you a blood test you should "hopefully" be under the limit..:)

Really not a great post as who in their right mind would condone drink driving ! ! !

Might be different in your home town however in the UK this is completely incorrect.

Across here you must wait 20 minutes after the last drink before you can carry out the roadside breath test.

So if you tried your scam then you would just have to wait with the Police for 20 minutes to pass beofer you took the test.

Can't believe people are posting on here with ways of trying to get away with drunk driving /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bang.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bang.gif

Especially when there's so many other ways to lose your licence without being a danger on the road!

As I always say when friends are contemplating driving home after a skinfull....... FOR FVCKS SAKE DON'T forget the car!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
