ASN Forum highlights of 2011

Well it's been a long and painful year, but as we reach the end of it, I thought it would be good to reflect back on some of the better bits that I've seen on the forum. From a personal standpoint:

Storyteller of the year has to go to Ads for his bizarre and wonderful stories of crapping delivery men and being frightened on trains

Man of the year has to go to Nige NHN for his immense efforts sorting VCDS and electrical conversions across the forum.

Modification of the year has to go to the guy that did the open sky conversion on the A3 SB; absolutely amazing:


Favourite new car of the year has to be the blue racing mica RS3 that is currently in Bath Audi awaiting a buyer. Close call as I love Virdee's Suzuka S3, but that blue....




Fashion accessory of the year has to be ScottB5's sleeping bag romper suit; pure Recession Chic!


But enough of me, I'm off to think about some more highlights/lowlights/things to mock.

So over to you lot, what have been the highlights of the year forum wise with things you've seen, read or been surprised by (I'm recalling an image I'd rather not of a blow up doll at ADI....

What is the worst mod you have ever seen

I think this thread should be in here as a highlight at the end of 2011. Has been a good thread, despite the usual goings on by our first poster, who uses the forum for info and then posts his personal opinion of us so nicely inpost no. 24. Its always intersting to see how far some people go when modding there cars.

Surely the genius that was s3girl should go in this thread. And I think as a special new years treat the mod's should let us know who it was!!
