Watching Emerdale with the in-law (Well, not really watching it. Its on in the back ground) and there is a female garage owner.

Would you take your car to a female mechanic?

Only if she if was hot and let me pay the bill in sexual favours.

Can't be any worse than our local Audi Master Techs!!

Funny you should mention it, but Oxford Audi service centre used to be run by a lass called Alex, and she ran a bloody good set up. Courtesy calls, took you out to car to review the schedule of works to ensure everything had been covered, if anything wasn't 100% right she wouldn't release the car and put you in a hire car, nothing was too much trouble.

By comparison the local centre I use now do well to find your car is the car park after a service.

Not a dilemma I've ever been faced with, but given what I'm subjected to annually at the moment I'd give it a shot yes!

I don't think so ! Don't call me sexist but their place is in the kitchen and minding the kids but i would not mind have a wife with interest in mechanics at least the discutions would be a bit longer than 15 min. at a time !

I agree... and a chain with one end attached to their ankle and the other end attached to the bed, and only long enough to stretch to the oven, fridge, washing machine and toilet.

I know a woman that owns a garage, she only deals with the jobs other garages cannot do. Her garage is as good as any other that I have dealt with, and especially good at dealing with complicated problems.

She has been in business for 20 years, so she can't be that bad.

Equality and all that, if I have to cook dinner, then woman can grease up me pipes.

That honestly looks like a one legged girl sweeping up! Took me a second to find the stray leg on the bumper.

Ha! How the hell did I mistake that for a broom? I'm obviously not to be trusted in a garage. You'd be far better off in their hands

i would not be happy about the one woman standing on my alloy... but then again suppose i could let her off if she apoligized nicely
