A little bit overboard perhaps...ok massively overboard, and she was scum. However, this kind of behaviour is definitely on the increase in the UK, and not just from scum bags like her.

when i was travelling through Saudi Arabia, i felt the racist card being played onto me being a white English guy, so you see as much as for the non British folk living and working here in the UK get to feel that abuse, there are English folk living and working over sea's getting abused and the indigenous folk of that land and the nationals hate us with a passion. Do you think there police service arrest there own people for doing it to us? hell no,

Dont take it personally from the sauds, The rich and police there class other races (Indian/Pakistani/Chinese/African) as slaves to the arabs. I have had family work abroad and currently still do they put up with the same stuff. The thing is in that part of the world there is no multi culture. My comment is a generalisation which is totally wrong everywhere has the good and the bad i have been to the middle east a fair bit and my views on race over there is mixed. You can meet some really nice people yet you can be casted out horribly. Britain is far superior, Lenient and a much better place for the public this is why we should live in harmony.

If you were treated badly in saudi thats a reflection of there failure as a country to welcome people from other nationalities or move with the times.

I'll never understand people like that, America being one of the leading countries of the world, built on what? Immigration. They invited people just like the British. Bottom line, different people bring different skills to the table. At the moment it doesn't look good, but don't look at the minorities living here, they're the ones taking the jobs some of us wouldn't even dream of. The people managing the country have failed, in this so called recession they spent around £500m of the tax payers money whilst in Libya. You'll all have different views, but nobody spends that kind of money to help some other country out. That's just one of the many examples where money has been wasted over the years when it could have helped the public sector pension, recruit officers to deal with riots, tackle youth unemployment and educate idiots like her. I hate to say it but by the looks of it, her son will now grow up with the same attitude and beliefs as the mum, probably sponge on the benefits and waste even more money!

Her attack was two pronged. One was against immigrants and one was against colour/race (although she's obviously too thick to realise that). Both of her attacks are b*llocks, but I'll only address the one that holds NO weight whatever.....

There are plenty of "brown and black people" in this country (and i bet - on that tram) who aren't here just because they have - as you put it - "taken advantage of our open door immigration policy". They were simply born here. And so were their parents and grandparents in a lot of cases. The fact that she has bundled everybody together that isn't (in her eyes) "British" just further proves what an idiot she, or anybody who defends/tries to justify her actions, is.

Watch the last few seconds of the video again and watch her face as she says "there's all f*cking black and brown people" and then tell me she isn't racist.

My guess is a very low IQ coupled with either 1) a significant bang on the head during childhood or 2) crack washed down with heroin and a 2 litre bottle of Diamond White.

Don't think I've done the quote thing correctly.. Anyway you only partially quoted me. In full....

'People seem to have a very 'intollerant' attitude to this poor woman..... No one seems to want to try and understand what could have happened to her that made her say such things..?? It would be entirely different if the situation were reversed'

It 'would' be entirely different if the situation were reversed....... For example if it were a Black woman in that video, people would be asking exactly the question I have, and given her unlimited state support to help her through her 'trauma', and asking what can be done to improve the situation for her (probably rightly so)... But White woman is treatened with all sorts of nasty things and put in prison by the state..! What is your opinion on why that is.??

    Another example.......

It seems to be fine for huge amounts of the population to call her 'white working class scum/crackhead' etc, and no one bats an eyelid.. But again if the roles had been reversed and the words 'ignorant black cxxt' etc had been used,,, you can bet the Police would be hammering down a few more doors....... Why is that??

Finally, if you removed everyone on that tram who was here as a result of Labours (self confessed) open door immigration policy, I bet it would be 1/2 empty...!

Finally, finally.... I'm not defending the way she expressed herself (it is obviously born out of ignorance), but I do understand her frustration, because the is no 'enrichment' or 'diversity' when one population has been replaced with another.... That is actually called genocide!
    In my personal opinion

How can that possibly be proved or disproved? Until a black woman or any other woman of "colour" has been caught on camera doing the same thing its impossible to say what the outcome would be.
I can tell you this though... if it was a black, asian etc woman who had done this and received the same media attention then the general feeling amongst the same race of people, in my opinion, would be pure embarrassment. Just as it as it has been for a lot of people in this case.

And the woman is this video WILL receive unlimited state support in protecting her and assessing her. Apparently she's bipolar and is already receiving state paid psychiatric care.

Have huge amounts of the population been calling her "white working class scum"?? How do you know this? I haven't, nor has anybody I've spoken to about this, referred to her as "white" anything. I think you'll find its the fact she is a different colour to the people she was abusing, not the fact she was white.

Example.... if that was a black lady abusing a tram load of Asian people then I think it would receive the same amount of backlash if it went viral, and vice versa.

Maybe it would have, maybe it wouldn't have. But its irrelivant. The bottom line is that she made an assumption and acted on it explosively, based purely on skin colour.

I notice you didn't answer the question in my last post.............. "is this woman racist?"

    So is she?

If I'm honest irrespective of personal views, there are ways and means of expressing yourself, particularly in public and with kids about.

Her opinion is her own, can't change that, the fact is when she decides to make her opinions known she makes an assumption her personal feelings and opinions are more important (and valid) than anyone else's. Probably stems fom the Soap Opera era we live in where sensationalism is made to look like a part of normal life.

Problem is, personal perceptions and experiences come from living in one street behind one set of curtains, with usually a pretty one dimensional view on the world. But because people read the odd Red Top front page newspaper story, feel informed and then choose to regurgitate they think it makes them a social commentator. Not true!

If we lived in a world where this was the norm would the world be a better place? More harmonious, better for our kids? Our species don't seem to be able to see the real issues and challenges that exist in this world, and revert to race and territorial markings as a default position too often. It proves you can take a stone tablet and make it an iPad in 2000 years, but evolution and enlightenment of a species and takes millennium!

    Ads,

I'm afraid to say you will find most of your assumptions about what would happen if the roles had been reversed, have proven time and time again to be wrong. There's plently of black/asian, violence/abuse, against whites out there on the web,,,, but I haven't noticed this sort of 'backlash', because it is generally ignored by the 'establishment'.

If multiculturalism, and the 'diversity' it brings were truely enriching and beneficial, it would not require a totalitarian Police response, and repressive anti free-speach laws to enforce it, would it??

To answer your final point..... If the Woman hates anybody 'soley' on the colour of their skin, or ethnic origin, then yes, I would say that is racist. If she hates them because they are in this Country and, rightly or wrongly, she believes they shouldn't be, then that is another matter altogether......... How that is articulated will vary from one person to another,, either way freedom of expression no longer exists in this Country,, and that is a crime that hopefully (one day) those responsible for it, will pay the price for..!
    In my personal opinion

Er what about all the money we cough up to help other countries out of debt - eg Ireland ?

    And then you contradict yourself.

I've seen lots of videos of "racist attacks" by white people on ethnic minorities on the web too, and they have not received any coverage or backlash either. In fact, other than this video I can't remember any other videos receiving this much (or any) attention. Maybe the video of the looters robbing that injured guy did. That was a multi-cultural effort.

I feel you have skipped past a lot of what I have written. Unless you address each of my points and respond to them specifically (as I have done with yours) our arguments will never meet.

And I notice you still haven't answered my question. So once again.... from what you have seen and in your opinion - is this woman a racist?
Why I am continuing to ask, I don't know. I already know what your answer will be.... it will be "no". And I'll be totally honest about why I think this.............

Its because you have an issue, a big issue, with non-whites and non-english in this country. Its obvious from many of the posts you have made over the years since you joined.

You are also what I would call a racist. ASN's resident racist. And i'm sure i'm not alone in thinking this.

Are you still advising people to vote BNP? I'm serious... i'm interested to know.

    Ads,

I think your hatred must be blinding you to my answers... I HAVE answered your question, the answer is there for all to see.

I don't mind if you or anybody else think I'm a racist (the term has lost any reasoned meaning anyway), but I don't think I am. I don't hate anybody just because of the colour of their skin or ethnic origin. The issues are much more complex than that!

Yes, I would suggest that everybody has a look at what the British National Party have to say, rather than believe what the 'establishment' say they have to say.... British National Party
    In my personal opinion

After a skim read, I have a couple of points to raise and I'm not looking for an argument.

Are you a racist if you are pissed off seeing a Polish Section in Tesco's, or a Polish/Eastern European only shop on the high street?

Could you go to Iraq, or less extreme, Pakistan and open a Church, and let woman walk around in a vest and shorts?

This woman is a racist I think, because she is judging people by the colour of their skin, if she was just annoyed at the state of the multi cultural Britain (ever tried phoning Orange to get them to sort out a problem, it's impossible) then I think she does have a point

More the fact that I see it as: could you do that in Poland/Eastern Europe? Do you think you could open a British shop there, and it would stay there for long? If people come to Britain, surely it's about integrating, not trying to make it the same as your homeland, but with better health care and wages?

I know what you're saying but to be honest I think its a problem with those countries that won't allow it rather it being a problem with our country.
I see nothing wrong or annoying about someone opening a speciality shop or tescos creating a section that caters to people from another country. If there's a demand for it (and there is) then fair enough. And it all goes into this country's economy.
I mean, should all Indian restaurants be banned, or is that ok because us English people eat there too? Caribbean takeaways are used by 99% caribbean people or people that have in someone way originated from the caribbean. Should they be not allowed either?

What I don't agree with is schools closing for the day for religious celebrations that are not a typical "English" relgion. Also some schools now do not serve meat because of such religious beliefs. This is wrong, imo.

    Ads,

I was refering to your hatred of what you think I might stand for..!

In relation to my support for 'most' of the British National Party policies,, as I'm sure you are aware I've never made any secret of it...

It's nothing to do with skin colour,, it's just the sheer overwhelming numbers that I personally do not agree with. If in your opinion that makes me a racist, I guess I'll have to live with that....!

I don't hate racists. I really don't. And the ones who convince themselves that they aren't racist I find funny.... e.g. Nick Griffin.

Ideally, would you prefer to have a country with only "indigenous" people living here?

PS: I remember the views you gave on this some time ago.

    Ads,

In an ideal world I would like to see the ethnic make up of this Country something similar to the post war years. I don't think that would be the right thing to actually aim for as a policy however...

I do genuinely believe that at 'sane' levels immigration and immigrants can indeed be 'enriching'. But in my view there is no ,'enrichment' to either the previous inhabitants, or the Country, when you have places like Tower Hamlets that is now almost entirely populated by Bagledeshi immigrants, most of whom are not working and claiming one or more benefits........ The only people they are 'enriching' are themselves..!! Why we tolerate it is beyond me (It's not actually, people have been silenced by FEAR!)
    In my personal opinion

Wow, man this is a heavy thread!

A friend of mine quite often refers to me as a racist, I think it's funny when he says it, but there is part of me that worries a bit that i could be. I don't go around blurting cr@p like the idiot in the video, and I don't judge people for the colour of their skin or country they come from or their ethnic background - I know...wow what a hero I am.

What I do have a problem with is religion I and think sometimes people confuse that with racisim. I'm not particulalry relgious, I have no problems whatsoever with people believing in whatever it is they see fit to believe. However, when people start to use religion as means to segment themselves from society, to use it as a way to circumvent the laws of this country and generally think they can do what they like becuase of their relgion, then I do have a few hang ups - and this applies across the board from islamic extremism, to jehovah's witnesses banging on my door on a saturday morning to the lady that is trying to ply my grandmother into becoming a morman while she is practically on her death bed.

If you were treated badly in saudi thats a reflection of there failure as a country to welcome people from other nationalities or move with the times.
ah yes for sure, TBH i developed skin that is a mile thick when it comes down to what other people say or think about me, iv heard it all,

Some day the world will be without racism.

That day will coincide with Armageddon.

Could you go to Iraq, or less extreme, Pakistan and open a Church, and let woman walk around in a vest and shorts?

This woman is a racist I think, because she is judging people by the colour of their skin, if she was just annoyed at the state of the multi cultural Britain (ever tried phoning Orange to get them to sort out a problem, it's impossible) then I think she does have a point

lso you cant walk around in those countries like that? They have adopted those laws for years you are free to wear your own dress but in public they have a more harsh view. Over here it is acceptibal to wear anything but you cant walk out naked can you? You would be arrested for indecent exposure....

In those countries its a rule...So either you abide by it or get put away. The difference is the tolerance on what you can and cant wear. Our country here is tolerant for anything to be worn but walking around butt naked isnt...

This is exactly what it comes down to, You are a freemason, You have different relations from different religious views. Mention a freemason to someone who apparently believes in my religion and they will tell you what they think freemasonry is.

I take a different approach, I respect your belief and i will never make assumptions or my own stories. Religion is personal there are so many divides in a religion how is one meant to be right and wrong. It comes down to following the bare basics that you follow, Respecting other human beings and moving with the times in moderation to what you have been taught or believe.

this is a good discussion i think. its educating hearing all the different views people have. And that is exactly what people need, EDUCATION. these indepth discussions of immigration, racism, religion, and multi culturalism need to be prioritised in schools!

If more people knew all the mixed views, and the pros and cons of immigration and multiculuralism, they may be totally neutral about it once they understand and know exactly what goes on.

the worst thing that women does, which ads has said, is jump to conclusions based on skin colour. which proves how stupid and uneducated she is.

in honesty, i used to be quite narrow minded and opinionated on this subject. not judging by colour, thats just stupid. but act pissed off by the influx of foreigners (like its a big deal and affects me, not). but as life goes on you realise and learn that it doesnt matter one bit, and there are far more pros to multiculturalism than there are cons. One con in my eyes is the conflict it can create, that video being a prime example, but that can be fixed with education.

And people need to learn that the problems with our economy, jobs, benefits, unemployment. is purely and solely the governments fault. not any one nationality.

its also worth noting that this issue does go both ways, and both sides must be educated for anything to improve, because some immigrants do provoke racism.

Yep, I do enjoy the word , what people "think" freemasonry is, its nothing like what 99% of people "think" it is, but that's a thread on its own in the conspiracy world, i will tell you what its not, its not a religion, its more a way of life and a learning process about yourself, religions don't feel comfortable with freemasonry as what ever that religion is does not want you to question what that religion tells you and don't want you to start thinking or questioning there teachings, that persona fits to all religions that claim to be the right religion, feel free to ask anything you like about the subject but it may be wise to do it off from this thread as we don't want a hijack tag stuck on us,

    WOW this thread is DEEP!!!

Firstly that woman is just ignorant and uneducated... resulting in the way she thinks. Its clearly a racist outburst regardless of her views as she has based them on the wrong reasons... should she had been smart about her approach to the subject she would not have been labelled a racist but then again none of us would be talking about it either! and lets face it there is no way that chav would have put it smarter as she clearly hasn't the brain power needed to make a constructive argument.

Secondly, to say things like "go back to your own country" and follow it up with the language she did doesn't make any fellow brit proud one bit... if anything its chavs like her that Britain needs to extradite... people like her are pulling the country down!

I'm not getting into the argument of immigration and lack of jobs... the way i see it if someone wants to do something with their life (get a decent job) they need to go out there and just do it! what ever it takes...

Britain is a place of opportunities for many people around the world! opportunity to make a better life and to live comfortably with the bare necessities of Electricity and clean water, a healthy living... which is alot for people of third world countries!
its a shame that so may people abuse this opportunity and claim benefits when they don't need to, but how is that going to be stopped? hell even the job centre are advising people to go on benefits instead of working for a living! I have a friend that is a single mother that has just been turned away from looking for a new job. the job advisor told her "you won't be able to do it, just go on benefits... you will earn much more anyway"
