Hello all,
last night on BBC2 the new series of Top Gear started. Didn't think much of the new presenter. What I did like, however, was their poll to find the most important car of all time.
Most where fairly standard vehicles, but two stood out to me. Last night's spotlight was on the McLaren F1. Wow. I've never seen one of these before, not even on TV. Awesome and the best performance car of all time.
But one of the other nominees is the Audi Quattro. Surely this is a car that embodies the best qualities of all real road cars. We can't all drive F1s, but we can all drive road cars with permanent 4WD and be safer for it. And have lots of fun to boot.
