Thread: Babar Ahmad Petition

Hi Guys,

This is not normally like me to ask people to do this kind of thing, but i feel like this is one of those times that everybody needs to come together.

Babar Ahmad has been held prisoner for the last 7 years without a trial or any evidence against him... based on the 'no-evidence-required, Extradition Act 2003'

now regardless of the case outcome and whether or not he is guilty or innocent there is a petition for him to get a fair trial in the UK which i would like everyone to sign please...

How can he be extradited if he has broke anti-terror laws here Ash ?

Like i said I'm not here to say he is innocent or guilty, I still don't even know what number of charges they have against him. My request was that if everyone could sign the the petition to get the man a trial since he has been locked up for 7 years without a trial! I don't believe it is fair that someone should be locked up for any reason for 7 years without it even going to a proper court, do you?

I agree with you....

How ever the fact he has been arrested and detained for so long, there must be something big on him and they are taking full advantage of these anti terror laws to gather evidence and ensure a conviction thus keeping you, I and everyone else safe.

If this now go's to trial, there is a terrorist attack and he is linked to it, could you sit back and say "justice just got it wrong, but at least it was fair". I doubt it.

Besides, if he wasn't a terrorist/terrorist threat before, he sure as s**t is going to be now!

well regardless the petition met its 100,000 on the same evening i originally posted this thread up... amazing it got 12,000 signatures in a matter of a few hours... lets see what happens now

But.... they said the London bombers were normal UK citizens and look what they did.

If he is being held, then they must have something on him.

So i will not be signing the Free a Possible Terrorist Petition.
