Hi All
Just thought I would let everyone know that if you are changing your original Head Unit for one of the aftermarket lookalikes most of them arnt compatible if your car is 2009 on or has Bose, there are a few issues with volume control the wrong way round, Bluetooth not working properly and not being compatible with certain phones, there is no phonebook download, screens freezing then blanking out and coming back on again.
If the car has Bose then you also experience background whine which is caused by the Bose system but the OE headunit has good quality noise suppression and stops this while the cheaper OE lookalikes are using cheap noise compression components and arnt good enough.
I would advise that you dont waste your money until you have asked the supplier the above questions, we have suspended sales of these units until we see better quality and get some quarantees.
cheers
