Makes me want to cry, B17 Flying Fortress Crashes

One of the few still surviving B17's crashed and burnt earlier today, all seven on board walked away from it. Now there are only 11 in the world still flying.
So if you ever get the chance to see the Sally B flying at Duxford I would seriously suggest you do it before its too late.

In case you have never been inside one, they are surprisingly small.

I had to turn sidways to get between the seats.

What a shame

I get so upset when I see/read of another warbird being written to the pages of history.

On the upside there is a spitfire being rebuilt at Filton, Bristol, to flying condition!
