Songs from Ipod to PC?

Does anyone know of a way to get the songs from my Ipod to my laptop? I bought a new laptop, so dont have any of the songs that I had on my old ones Itunes. Now Ive got over 1000 songs that I cant transfer over? There must be a way to do it!

If you plug in the ipod and view all files including the hidden ones you will find all the MP3 in folders. the only problem is that the Ipod renames them all and puts them in a random order in the folders.. You will see what i mean when you browse the ipod.

You can then just copy them across and add to the itunes library

Wot jojo said.I really like copytrans.Works really well and really easy to use.Havent used itunes since.You will however need to download itunes as it needs a driver.But once copytrans is installed, you can remove itunes.Try the free trial.
