How do you like your Steak cooked?

How would you like your steak cooked sir/madam?

Not a fan of rare meat dripping with blood, so I like mine medium-well(no blood), how do you like yours?

Up to about a month ago I liked mine well done, but working in a predominantly French office I got frowned upon everytime I ordered one cooked this way.
Got told some restaurants in France won't even serve you if you order anything more cooked than medium.

So anway, now I've moved on to medium-well, and I must say I'm enjoying the extra succulence that it brings.

It's got to be well-done or burnt.

Depends on the cut and how good the beef is. Cheap cut medium/well done. Good cut rare.

Haha, this reminded me of a Steak I ordered in Paris many years ago, I don' think they understand the term 'no blood', my steak came out 'medium rare', and my request that it needed to be cooked a bit longer didn't go down too well neither... live and learn aye, never ordering steak in France again I tell you!

Medium-rare, only way to have it imo, have it well done and it looses so much taste.

Rare! Then again, being South African, I'm partial to it raw too, spiced and hung to dry of course.

Medium well. Can't see the point of rare, may as well just take a bite out of a cow - cooking releases the flavour!

    Yeah, of the fried oil!!

Rare on the BBQ is my poison, enough to seal the outside of it and slap it down on the plate with some french fries, served with a glass of a nice bold red, and i'm a happy man.

    Mmmm....bring on the summer!!
