Anybody any good at animating pics?

I used JASC Animation Shop (part of Paint Shop Pro). You can tweak each image so the object is identically placed before then animating the images, but best to try to get the source image as close as possible to start with. Mount the camera on a tripod and use a cable release (if it has one). As flash can be unpredictable, light your subject with a couple of table lights as well.

Finally stick a plain (dark?) background there so nothing distracts in the picture.

Nah, I did some work on it tonight, actually figured out how to animate it with Adobe. Only problem is, how do I get it to animate as a format that can be uploaded here?

Let's test it, shall we.....

NOPE, I can't figure out how to save the whole thing as anything other than a powerpoint file /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Animated pics can only be GIF's (the old Compuserve format).
