Oh well, all the shops seem to think it christmas now so I may as well get my ten pence worth in and wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Sainsbury's have advent calendars in. I considered buying one for October, one for November and one for December...

it will be over before you know it, daughters birthday on Christmas eve poor girl she has to wait all year
 
Be cool 1st xmas with the little one, even if she wont understand why she has so many new things.

yea fair comment, lol i perhaps i should have said all the hype for Christmas gets swallowed up and at that time all her friends are either busy or away so we have to arrange something after the new year, 'just not the same'
last year we really made a fuss over here and we stayed onsite at a National Trust Hotel right next door to Waddesdon Manor awesome was snowing as well!

I know what you meant. Must be hard for her, I can imagine some may buy her a 'combined' pressie too which doesnt seem fair! Xhristmas is exciting but so are birthdays when your a child, bless her, hers are too close!

Last year sounded brilliant fun! Top that this year lol
 
its gonna be hard i wanted to do something extra special as she was 10, dont think i can afford it this year as we been to Florida this year in the summer hols. will do something

There should be a law, nothing Christmas related in the shops before the last week of November....

I coulda sworn I saw tubs of Christma nuts in Morrisons couple of days ago.
 
lol, I agree but November should be the start, not now. Saying that come Jan it will be Easter stuff lol....all that chocolate!

Just a shame Christmas is so commercialised as its spoilt what its really all about! Still hope it snows though and my stocking gets filled lol

Saw a house a good few weeks ago with an Xmas Tree in its window....WTF man, why so early???

Went into Brum on Sunday to do some shopping, to say it was busy would be an understatement, it was heaving and it was only the 1st w/e of November, can you imagine what it will be like in the coming weeks before Xmas!!!
 
I was in Debenhams buying my girlie her birthday present, now that had to be before her birthday (3rd Oct) so probably last week of September, and even back then they already had their Christmas decorations out!
 
Luckily the missus gets free parking in a private car park, believe me that makes such a difference, we did use it last year and we were in and out like a flash, however the year before, we had to queue to get into the multi story for nearly and hour and the same getting out, it was a joke!!!
