£12 grand + £3000 part x to spend on a car!!!!

My brother is looking at getting a new car give us some pointers what you would buy??

He has requested he wants something sporty with no more than 40,000 miles and no older than 4 years old.

He has been looking a Mk5 R32 and Honda Civic type R.

Any one got any ideas....
 
Could almost get a new clio sport cup for that money, friend of mine just ordered a new one for around 14k, nice quick and fun motor, not the best build though!
Otherwise could get a very good 8L S3 for that money ;-)
 
have seen today an advert in Wales on Sunday paper 10 subaru impreza wrx brand new I think or pre registered 10 platers for £15 grand at cvc cardiff subaru dealer,sounds tempting.

Good point forgot about the £400 tax on r32 dont even think he has thought about that.... Will have a look about for a good one.

Any more pointers....
 
Could try an Impreza or a 350Z, but is it a hatchback he's after???
 
A3 3.2 or R32 if you get a right age one the tax isn't an issue.
