not having had this on a car before I thought it would be a good feature,but I hardly ever use it because for the first 2 or 3 minutes it smells like stale ****,does the aircon need gassing or can I put an air freshener in the system?

I would recomend that you start of with a regular AC Cleaner on a spray can. Something with nano technology should do the trick, at least it did it for me!
You should also try to change the filter.

If that doesn't work, you might need to bring your car on a Ac-service.

where would that filter be located,doesnt mention it in handbook.
