imobiliser help needed

Hello to all I've just put a passat turbo engine into my a4 the prob is the passat imobiliser is a transponder that reads the key by a coil round the ignition barrel. But my a4 is diffrent is there any way of bypassing it of patching it in?????????????????????????????????????? please help

ok corection my audi does have a transponder coil around my ignition barrel but under the dash near my ignition I have a white box of tricks thats no doubt part of the imobiliser setup. but on the passat I can't find a white box could it be that on the passat its all linked to the clocks???

problem solved! I've taken all the trim out, taken the loom from the passat and put it into my a4 not as bad as I thought turned the key and sweet as a nut I guess next time I'll read up about it more. cheers
