    2000 S4 B5 question

    Hi,I am new to the site,I have a 2000 S4 that seems to be having a voltage regulator issue.
    What is the best way to gain access to the alternator cos I can barely see it.I read about a "service mode"
    but this seems like alot of work for an alternator.....

    What do you make of the B5 S4? I was thinking about one after my A3 in a couple of years as they're not masses to buy. Have you had any issues with the turbos or reliability in general?

    Thanks ill take a look.I have only owned the car now for a few months and the only other problem ive had is a bad oil temp sensor which was cheap to replace,so,so far so good!The S4 is the first Audi I have owned and honestly I cant find anything to complain about.I have a cool air intake,15lbs flywheel,stage2 clutch and a Borla cat back exhaust.The car has bags of torque,it will pull away hard even in 6th at 40mph.So yeah id definitely recommend the car!
