As some of you will no about ChippedUk's ST3 self tune box I thought I would enlighten a few of you to my recently purchased ALIENTECH POWERGATE self tune device.
The ST3 is basically a rebadged ALIENTECH device, which plugs in through your ECU port and reads your cars stock Map. You download the file to your PC so that if you ever need to reset it to stock, i.e. if you are taking it in for a service etc then you can easily put the stock map back on. The Alientech comes with two other maps, an Economy (even though more BHP and torque) and a fast road (even more BHP and Torque).
I have a 2.0 TDI 140, and I am looking at an increase of 30 BHp on econ, and 45 on Fast road.
I dealt with Ged from tuningtools in Chester and he was very knowledgeable and responsive.
And one of the other key factors was the price, A saving of over £100 to the ST3, BARGIN!!!!!!
As for results, wait out. I will be programming the new map in the next 24hrs. But I am expecting good results :icon_thumright:
