Audi Quattro from 'Ashes to Ashes' up for sale

Intriguing they'd rather go through eBay rather than specialist auction house. Suppose it widens the net, but I'd want clearly presented info of it's provenance / details of inclusion in the filming.

Off to sell a vital organ on eBay so I can start bidding.

I recently watched the Wheeler Dealers episode where they get a silver Quattro, and watching it just made me want one even more. They look so mean, and are a true legend in the car world.

Love the fact it still has the bullet holes! Shame the interior is so tatty! Any future buyer surely won't be using it as a daily? I'm watching it just to see what it'll fetch.

It needs putting in a museum with other famous cars from films and TV. Restoring it would be the wrong thing to do.

I've had my pic taken with this car and met Philip Glenister at a charity do.

I'm not sure how many cars were used during the filming as my Uncle owns an Audi Quattro & he knows the bloke who owns the Life On Mars Car, who's owner lives up in the Lake District!
Also no mention of any bullet holes in the body work on the car that this person owns & AFAIK that car had not been sold.
I know my Uncles own car is in need of a lot of restoration but I would have thought if my uncle knew this chap he would have maybe bought the car, then sold his white Audi Quattro to finance the restoration work. :faint:

imagine how the car has been treated through filming though
