Any additional fees when ordering stuff off German eBay?

Not sure if this is the right section,

Anyone thats ordered something from Germany eBay.....

If I order a item off ebay that will be coming from Germany, just a electrical item for my car, would I get any sort of import, vat charge etc?

Dont want to order something then get slapped with extra charges!

Because it's part of the EU no charges should be applicable. Any added taxes will have been added at the time of checkout

Watch out on the payment side of things, I bought something off ebay.de just before Christmas, I had to pay the seller by bank transfer as he didn't accept paypal, I ended up getting stung for £25 by my bank for an international transfer.
