Hi folks.
My mate has just bought a mk 4 golf 2.8 4motion and is looking to put a non res exhaust on it but he doesn't know what would be best?
He has done a few searches and the results say to go for milltek but he has asked me to ask for your advice.

So is there a better exhaust system for his motor other than a milltek?

I think a s3/a3 back box will fit as it has the same floor pan

Miltek every time.

Quality is unrivalled for a mas produced item, and they have a great sound.

Mines done 100K+, had a 150mph smash at the ring and been bent in half by the rear beam bending, had the discreet tips cut off and re-relded with bits of drain pipe...And it sounds IMMENSE.

Another vote for milltek, running a BMC filter, decat + milltek on my mk3 vr6, nothing beats it! Supersprint might be a good shout if hes got money to spend. Whatever u do, maintain the OEM exhaust diameter throughout the system. Anything bigger will be noisier but u'll lose performance. I may be wrong, but i think the 3.2 manifold fits onto the 2.8 block aswell with some minor modifications
