A3 8P reversing sensors not working.

HI, I have reversing sensors on my A3, I think they will be factory fitted but they haven't worked since I got the car a few months ago. When you select reverse there is a loud lomg beep and that's it. I know you can listen to them and apparently the tick, if they don't the sensor needs replaced, haven't done that yet but I did price a sensor from Audi when I was buying something else and apparently they are £75 each, which is a bit steep, anyone any experience of these or advice as to what I should do?

If you havent already, Try cleaning them....

I had it when the car was filthy in the snow.

Would have been a nice easy fix but nope sorry they are clean.

If they're genuine Audi sensors then a VCDS scan will be able to reveal which sensor(s) are at fault and then you can change that particular one. They are circa £75 from Audi though you should be able to get them on the likes of eBay.
