    WD40 for lug nuts?

I'm going to be taking the rear driver side tyre off soon to sort a leaky breather pipe out and leaky filler neck...

Last time I put WD40 on the lug nuts I swear they were difficult to remove. Is there some kind of home truth about WD40 actually drying out things?

    Anything else I could use??

I'd use copper grease for these nuts, not WD40, or are you on about just removing them? Either way, don't use WD40 on these parts, if just removal, you usually just need brute strength or an extended breaker bar works wonders.
