Ive got an AUDI A3 8P 2009 model with the AUDI warrntee till 11/12.
Its a 1.8 TFSI engine but i noticed that the clutch has started slipping at mid range at around 3k revs.
when it slip the engine sounds like an auto by overrevving with no positive feedback.
Question is, would AUDI cover a slipping clutch under the original warrantee or do i have to shed out
a wedge and to replace it at my own cost.
Plus its had an APR stage 1 switchable map from 10k miles.

the map could be your downfall
iv knows ppl get clutch under warrante
but then depending on miles they say wear an tear
but dont mention the APR and hope they dont find out and flag the car

the APR map can be switched off easily and security locked.
via cruise control stalk.

for most dealer warnntee work they will plug it in
and will find the map then flag it
theres plenty of posts around
just 1 that came to mind read it through i know thats from the zine in the usa but its in the UK aswell
My cars been flagged and denied warranty

seems to be a debatable issue i will look for a tuner friendly main Stealer
