I'm after some measurements from the hydraulic rams and a bit of information on how the system works please.

Since posting this I have since realised that they are hard to find, ford and there are better options out there.

Like the rams from a 05 A4 cab.

From what I can tell they push the hinges out.
I don't have the space or the brackets in the roof for that.

So I'm thinking of hydralic rams. Remove my current rams and fit the rams from something like a A4 cab, they are a nice length (not sure how much but will need to check) and a hyraulic pump to push them out.
Seems easy but I still got allot of research to do.
