For the launch of their new high performance tyre, the Korean manufacturer Hankook hasnât made any compromises. Indeed, the Ventus S1 Evo K 107âs successor will be the original fitting tyre on the new BMW 3 series.
This collaboration with a luxury car manufacturer isnât something new, as Hankook tyres have already equipped the 1 Series and Mini, right off the production line. The collaboration shows that Hankook displays all the qualities searched for by top of the range car manufacturers: fuel economy, comfort, handling, and safety.
Destined for the hatchback and sport saloon market, the Ventus S1 evo[SUP]2[/SUP]âs high performance characteristics are the result of:

- Experience from the DTM championship, as Hankook is the official sponsor. This has helped towards the development of wear resistant shoulders.
- Research and development. Hankook developed the new tyre in their European R&D centre in Langenhagen (near Hanover â Germany), in collaboration with BMW.
