Replacement key fob and programming

I have just bought a v reg a3 Quattro and it only has one key, as I'm pretty good at misplacing my keys I need a spare key, I phoned the Audi main dealers who quoted me just shy of £300!!

Does anyone know a cheaper way around this, I have looked at keys on eBay but I can't seem to find one with the electrics inside,

Any help to point me in the correct direction would be helpful please!!

A friend just did this,he bought a fob and blank blade GENUINE Audi three button remote key fob A1, A3, A4, A6, A8, Q7, TT | eBay
You would need to ask to confirm if its an 8L
Also a transponder chip 1 AUDI/SEAT/SKODA ID48 VIRGIN TRANSPONDER CHIP *NEW* | eBay
Then you will need someone to program it to the car,a local locksmith,Timpson the shoe key cutting place were doing it for 120 quid.

Shame you are not closer, I have VAG tacho, programs keys and clusters a treat!
I would take a look at NW Keys Ltd - Home very good service and good value.
