think we got mystery shopped at work today.
had a 57 plate a6 allroad in, not seen the guy or the car before.
problems were;
mmi wasnt working.
navigation unit.
suspension light on.
non of them were communicating or even able to access diagnostically.
handbrake light was on. "left caliper open circuit".

anyway the wierd bit, after a bit of checking stuff and looking thru the fuses etc.
i found a multiplug in the n/s/r behind the side panel, next to the navigation, just physically unplugged. also a 5 amp fuse for the mmi just missing out of fuse box 4 on the other side of the boot.
anyway i fitted another fuse and plugged the loom in.
could now read everything.... then had to carry out adaptions and reset the air ride suspension.

anyway the guy paid the £39 diagnostic charge, 1.5 hours, and 20p for a fuse. and said thankyou very much, ive been to a few garages that couldnt find the faults, well done. and off he went!

very wierd, almost like created faults.
heard of vosa doing stuff like this before to test nt's etc.

what do you think?

Whether he was or not, sounds like a great service you provided and if he was, well done on passing the test, if he wasnt, lets hope he passes the word on about the service he got ;)
